Hello, everyone! My name is Brody, and I’m a happy, energetic pitbull cross.

I want to tell you a bit about myself.

When I was a puppy, I was full of energy, always jumping, running, and playing. And guess what? Not much has changed.

I still love to jump—big jumps—and I love to run and play with my humans, especially the little humans. Every time they come home, I greet them like they’re the best thing in the world. I just can’t help it. I’m always so excited to see them. And I don’t just love my humans—nope, I love all humans. If you’re around, you’re my friend.

Now, one of my favorite things in the whole wide world is my ball. I could chase it all day long, and when we go for walks, I’m always ready for the next adventure. Sometimes, my humans take me on day hikes, and those are the best. The sights, the smells, the whole world feels so exciting out there.

 

But my absolute favorite memory was when we went on vacation to the sea. Oh, what a trip that was. We traveled really far, but it was worth it. I got to play in the sand, and I did some pretty impressive jumps to catch my ball. It was like the best dream ever. Just look at me basking in the sun

But... things have gotten a little tough lately. I’m 4 years old now, and recently,

the doctor lady told my humans that I have cancer. That was really scary.

I can tell my humans are sad. My mom especially, she’s been so worried about me,

but mom is doing everything she can to make sure I get better, and she is now

saving to make sure she can cover the cost of my surgery, and the care I’ll need after.

 

The doctor lady might have to take off my front leg, but that’s okay.

I’ve still got three strong legs, and I’ll keep jumping, running, and playing

no matter what!

That’s just who I am. Mom said she will also collect for other four paws who

might need help too, so they can get better, just like I’m trying to do. 

​
